The miniature had been ordered by French KIng Ludvig XIV for his son and came to Sweden through nobel families. It was discovered by Agne Beijer in an Artshop in Stockholm. Agne Beijer bought it for the Drottningholm Theater. It is now at The Music and Theater Museum.
